Data collected when visiting this page
No access logs are kept when this emergency page is visited. IP addresses, browser identifiers, referrers and other connection data are not stored persistently.
Editorial area login
Failed login attempts to the administration area cause the requesting IP address to be held temporarily in the server's memory in order to detect and block brute-force attacks. This data is never written to disk and is automatically discarded after five minutes.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR in conjunction with Art. 32 GDPR: the university is required to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of processing; briefly retaining the IP address to fend off brute-force attacks is such a measure.
Cookies
This site only uses technically necessary session cookies. No tracking, analytics or third-party cookies are set.
- Login cookie (
session): set only after a successful login to the editorial area; deleted when the browser is closed. - Unlock cookies for password-protected pages (
epu_*): set once the password for a protected page has been entered correctly; deleted when the browser is closed.
